Complete Somec ProMax road bike, constructed with a full state-of-the-art Columbus Max tube set in the late ’80s / very early ’90s.
We built this beauty up with a complete 8 speed Campagnolo Record groupset from the turn of the ’90s, matched with a set of first generation tubular Shamal wheels. Cinelli Top Ergo 66 handlebar, and silver Cinelli stem. Vittoria Corsa Evo CX 21mm tyres. Everything shifts, brakes and rides very well, with no problems. There are no dents, cracks or bends. There is a small amount of surface rust on the head tube lugs and two spots on the fork blades, but we’ve checked it out and it’s very minor.
