This Bicycle saw competition use by Team MG Maglificio in 1992 , being one of the first time trial racing machines in cycling history. Professional cycling marked the beginning of the TT hi-tech equipment era and this is the best example of Bianchi‘s technology at it’s peak performance.
The clear anodised C-Record group set gives this bicycle a classic and at the same time a very futuristic touch. Legendary Campagnolo Delta brakes are in great condition and work smoothly. The front wheel features a Chorus hub laced to an aero NISI Laser black rim. The rear wheel is one of the first Carbon Corima discs with a great fitting Vittoria Crono Squadra Profi tubular. These funky TT bicycles are not very easy to measure correctly, on the BB is stamped 52 – 52 with G – 5. This would most likely indicate 52 ct. – ct. seat tube and top tube with rider number 5 on the team. If someone has more precise info we would be happy to learn more about the history of this beautiful historic, racing machine.
A must have for every passionate Bianchi collector!
