A highly collectable road racing bicycle from Italian marque Oscar Simonato. This is one of those countless small frame builders from Italy who understood his craft. He made his frames in small series in Montebelluna just north of Trevino. After today the son runs a small bicycle shop in Montebelluna, Italy where rather modern bikes are offered now.
Overall the bike is in top condition, showing little signs of use. All components are in great condition and are fully functional, ready to ride. There are a few minor scrapes to the paint that appear to be from storage rather than abuse. No dents or cracks. The frame is soldered together using high quality Columbus SL (superleggero) tubes with Campagnolo dropouts. Tyres, cables bar tape are new (tyres are NOS). Wheel set can be exchanged for an equivalent set of tubulars should that be your preference.
