Cicli Basso is a family business who began manufacturing racing bicycles in 1981, having previously retailed other brands of bicycles in their store since 1976. The Basso name was made famous by the eldest of the three Basso brothers, Marino, who was a professional racing cyclist from the mid 1960s until his retirement from the sport in 1972.
Basso frames are well known for their uncompromisingly high quality of construction.
