This is a charming example of the finest aluminium tubed road frame and forks produced since the 1980s by prestigious Italian manufacturer Colnago. Needless to say, we have built it up with an appropriate ensemble of high end Italian components, the Record gruppo of course from Campagnolo. Frankly, a frame and fork of this very high calibre ought never to be encumbered with components from the far East. To do so would detract from the obvious fact that every Colnago Dream is a proud celebration of the very best of Italian hand manufacture.
This lightweight road rocket is assembled with a full house of Campagnolo Record components from the 9 speed era. The 3ttt bar and stem are the requisite grip at terminal velocity is provided by a fresh wrap of black tape. The lucky rider perches upon a simple and fittingly classic black leather Flite Titanium saddle, itself mounted on an alloy Campagnolo Record seat post. As for that lavish decoration, we’ll let the photos do the talking. A great deal of time and effort went into adorning this race winning device with those distinctive graphics.
On the top tube we found a very small indentation as seen on picture number 17 on the top tube DREAM.
