Cinelli Laser America – Columbus SLX – Campagnolo C-Record (First Generation)

This is the one and only original Cinelli Laser America road bicycle built in 1986 with Columbus SLX tubes. Exceptional original condition, this might be your only opportunity to acquire and possess one of the most iconic designs in cycling history, offered by Cicli Berlinetta. This is the holy grail on wheels which stands alone from traditional steel frames of its era.

The bicycle has not been restored or altered, preserving its authentic character and historical integrity. Hand built from Columbus SLX steel tubing in the workshop of Andrea Pesenti around 1985-86 features sloping fork crown with winged Cinelli cut-outs, very few of these frames exist and all are highly collectable. We’ve put all of our effort into keeping this bike original, built up properly and can think of nothing else we would add to it.

Fitted with a complete first-generation Campagnolo C-Record groupset, Roval Aerodynamiques wheelset, matching Cinelli SLX leather saddle & bar-tape, bottom bracket has the Pesenti stamp and the # 16 opposite. We’ve put all of our effort into keeping this bike original and built up properly so we can think of nothing else we would add to it. The Laser America was the first model available for the public and very few were produced or sold especially in this condition.
