This frame is a bit of mystery to us but we can tell you what we know. During the mid to late 80’s Team Renault-Elf experimented with aerodynamics for their time trial specialists. While mainly using Gitane bicycles they also branched out to smaller frame builders from time to time for the more radical designs.
It came to us from a private collector of professionally raced bicycles but he had also had very little information for us. Once in our hands it was sent out to our frame builder to be measured for straightness and then repainted to it’s original paint scheme.
