Fillet brazed Columbus Nemo Nivacrome steel road racing frame and fork by Somec, the ‘Society of Mechanics’. Painted in metallic gold with half-chrome fork blades and chrome drive side chain stay, with hand painted black pinstriping. Columbus engraved drop-outs. Chrome plated braze-on front derailleur fitting. Delightfully detailed internal derailleur cable routing on lower front and sides of head tube disappearing into the down tube, and similar rear brake cable routing into the under side and out of top side of top tube. Black lettering, Italian flag decal set with the prancing horse motif of Imola, and ‘handmade in Italy’ seat tube lettering. ‘Nemo’ engraved bottom bracket shell. Engraved oval Somec badges brazed onto curved upper face of front fork. Designed for use with Campagnolo Ergopower or Shimano STI shifters, due to the adjustable braze-ons on the head tube. NOS, with a couple of very small chips to the paint from storage and display.
