Top Italian frame builder Gianni Sancineto was one of the only builders to continue building steel after the majority moved to the new fad of aluminium, The quality of his frames kept improving throughout the ’90s. Their ’90s work took the lessons learnt from the years of lugged steel construction and combined it with modern advancements in light weight tubing to create superlative frames. This particular example is crafted from Columbus Neuron tubing, and is NOS from 1995. The paint is typical Sancineto, lavish but never excessive. Airbrushed green, purple and blue accents weave between each other over a pearl white base coat. Decals are black with gold accents. Engravings on the bottom bracket shell have been filled with gold paint. It is in perfect condition, never having been built up, not even for display. Only one very small paint chip adjacent to the Campagnolo seat post bolt, which is included. Otherwise the paint and decals are in impeccable condition.
