De Rosa Professional SLX
De Rosa Professional. The top of the line from the Cusano Milanino factory, the frame and fork are constructed from Columbus SLX leightweight tubing with inner reinforcements which were state of the art. The chain stays have a diamond shape in cross section.
The frame is painted in a rich dark red, with a chromed lower stays and rear drop outs. It is paired with a partially chrome plated raked fork with a nice sloping crown. Engraved on the sides with the De Rosa name and topped with a red heart on either side of the crown. Finished with an eye catching decal set with white lettering, both the paint and the decals have faired very well indeed until today, with only a very few minor scuffs and nicks. The sprung wheelbase adjusters on the rear drop outs are intact and functional. There is a braze on front derailleur mount and provision for two water bottles on the down tube.
This frame and fork are in very beautiful condition indeed, with no dents or dings, and only some truly very minor scuffs to the paint.
