Ugo de Rosa was a man of passion and learning. During his youth he was a budding amateur racer as well as a diligent student of mechanics and engineering and it did not take long for these passions to combine themselves for at just 19 years old he opened his first workshop in Milano and birthed what was to become one of the most celebrated names in Cycling.
