De Rosa Diamante Repaint 51.5cm
Here we have a freshly refurbished De Rosa road racing frame and fork. The crisp new two tone metallic blue paintwork with a new white decal set replicates the colours of the infamous Gewiss-Ballan cycling team. Gewiss -Ballan riders including Moreno Argentin, Evgeni Berzin and Bjarne Rijs achieved many victories on De Rosa bikes during the mid 1990s.
This lugged frame and matching fork are constructed from Columbus EL over size tubing. The chain stays feature a stiff diamond shape, hence the Diamante name. The bottom bracket casting includes pronounced additional external webbing for maximum stiffness. The drive side chain stay and rear drop outs are chrome, as is the complete fork. The rear brake cable is routed inside the top tube. There is a braze on front derailleur fitting, and provision for one water bottle on the down tube.
