Every Colnago bicycle frame is of course a cut above the ordinary, this particular paint scheme represents a significant milestone in the maestro’s continuing development of the state of the art road racing bike. Mid 1980’s Colnago Superissimo with original paint and stickers. Columbus SLX tubing reinforced for Colnago, front derailleur braze on boss, investment cast fork crown, drop-outs and BB shell. The rear triangle has original Colnago tapering with chromed fork, drop outs and chainstay. We hope the next lucky owner elects to ride and enjoy this frame and fork as it’s famous maker intended, although we can understand that it might well become an ornamental trophy feature in a serious collection.
