Road frame set, handmade in the late 1980s by Cicli Dosi, in the Italian town of Imola. The frame sports Walter Dosi’s typically flashy paint, with airbrushed ‘stars’ and a subtle purple/pink pearl sheen in the clear coat – invisible under normal light, but once you get the frame outside it really sparkles. This is about as small as lugged steel frames get with conventional 700c wheels. High quality frames in this size are somewhat difficult to find.
126mm rear spacing, for 6/7 speed wheel sets. Internal brake cable routing along the top tube. Gipiemme dropouts front and rear. Nice ‘hidden’ smooth fork crown with ‘Dosi’ engraving on top. Chrome fork and chain stay with a bright gleam! Frame is in good used condition, with some minor chips to the paint and a little sticker damage. Otherwise in top condition with no dents or cracks. Lots of space on the fork shaft for any headset you may wish to install. Bottom bracket threads are sound.
