Introduced the same year as the first Ergopower brake shifters, these downtube levers are the last of an era. Since the 50’s all racing bicycles came equipped with downtube shifting levers but as the tenchology evolved from friction to indexed to brake lever shifters they became obsolete so were only produced in this 8 speed variant for a very short period of time.
