Very nice road racing frame set from Colnago. Let’s be honest, aren’t all Colnago frames nice!? This particular model, an ‘Asso’ or Ace, dates from approx 1997-1999, and we believe it to be made of Columbus Altec / Airplane. Fork is a Colnago ‘Flash’ in very good condition, with carbon blades. Rides very comfortably indeed, with little of the harshness commonly associated with aluminium frames, making this a perfect base to assemble an all-Italian bike for everyday riding. Condition is top, apparently having rarely been ridden. Definitely no dents or cracks, barely even any flaws to the paint. Just one tiny spot, which has been touched up, on the chain stay behind the crank arms. Included is the Stronglight O Light headset, and the 120mm Colnago branded ITM stem.
