54cm Colnago Master road bike for sale.
Beginning with an NOS frame, we then collected a Colnago-pantographed Campagnolo C-Record groupset in top condition and carefully assembled the perfect bike for any lover of classic Italian bikes.
The Colnago Master was the frame to have in the late ’80s, and still has an unmistakeable form thanks to the four-way crimping on the Columbus / Gilco tubeset. Chrome lugs and no flaws. All stickers and logos are in perfect condition. Full-chrome, gently curved Colnago fork.
Wheelset is a set of lowflange, 32 hole C-Record hubs freshly laced to NOS blue anodised Mavic SSC rims. SSC rims were the choice of the pro peloton for years, and were indeed not available for the general public for a long time.
Brakes are Campagnolo C-Record – the unmistakeable Delta centre-pulls. They’re in great condition and work perfectly. Brake levers are the matching C-Record, with Colnago logo and NOS hoods.
Stem features a Colnago signature pantograph, and the handlebars have been expertly wrapped with white leather by the Italian specialists Almarc.
7 speed Regina freewheel, in top condition. Downtube shifters are the rare C-Record with curved levers, which have been reversibly modified to friction, allowing a wider range of freewheel combinations.
Needless to say, there are no dents, cracks or rust anywhere on the bike. The bike is a quality investment, and will provide years of satisfying riding.
