Complete road bicycle, with early 1980s frameset from cult Italian framebuilder Patelli and matching Campagnolo Super Record groupset.
We have a special preference for Patelli framesets here at Cicli Berlinetta, as their frames show great finishing work and quirky details. This particular frame has brazed cable guides on the headtube instead of the downtube, for use with bar-end shifters only. Reinforced lips on the headtube, in the style of Masi. Killer fork crown, deeply engraved in relief with the Paletti logo, and the tubing . All the lug work is nicely finished, as one would expect on such a quality frame. The tube ends are left open where they meet the dropouts, in the signature Patelli style.
The bike is equipped with a Campagnolo Super Record groupset, including Campagnolo bar-end shifters. Wheelset consists of polished Record hubs, laced with flattened spokes to polished silver aluminium rims. 27.2mm fluted Campagnolo Nuovo Record seatpost with Selle San Marco Concor Supercorsa Confort black leather saddle. Bar and stem are Cinelli, also with fluting on top. Everything is in top condition, shifts, brakes and rides well.
We’ve set the bike up according to our taste, with a view to preserving the classic look and style. In saying that, if you would like to make some small changes (saddle, bar tape etc), then often this is possible. We have a large inventory of classic components acquired over the last 14 years.
